Apple announced today that Definition prime time TV shows from the four major networks is now available on the iTunes store.

We've got an amazing 2088 Fall lineup with more than 70 primetime dramas and comedies, including many of the most popular shows in stunning HD,said Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of Internet Services.

Boasting over 200 million episodes sold, iTunes users have shown that they love watching their favorite TV shows on their computer, iPhone, iPod and Apple TV. Apple reports that they have sold over one million HD episodes since their initial offering last month. iTunes now offers more than eight million songs, 30,000 TV episodes and 2,500 films, 600 of which are in HD.
